My bf has a new retail store he owns and just open in a mall. He hired a customer who is a female age 18 on a random day after we recently had conversations about him not being financially ready to hire a store associate. I thought that this decision was random but went with it. Recently i found out they they text pretty much every day and on her days off the short messages i saw where brief about work but a lot of time gaps and he didn’t want to show me any more of the convo which i can respect his privacy. But he also has her sharing her location and it is on 24/7. He told me it’s because he doesn’t have security cameras set up and doesn’t trust that she is still in the store when she’s supposed to be working. She doesn’t just share it during work hours it stays on 24/7. I’m very to uncomfortable with that and expressed that to him. He’s very dismissive and told me I’m jealous and insecure over a kid. I just feel the hiring her abruptly like that was weird but ok no big deal but the sharing locations and texting daily is crossing boundaries to me. I ask him to just get a camera from Home Depot or something and he shouldn’t have access to her location when she isn’t working. He says I’m the issue. Am I?
