The avoidant I was seeing said that she normally picks men she doesn’t feel that attracted to so she won’t push them away. After a brutal shutdown with me for months and continuous coming back it seems she has settled down with not to be mean but a man considerably below her league. Wonder if anyone else has heard of this deliberate act of choosing partners so average they don’t attach that hard and will not shut down and discard
