trying to beat twisting issues. this is all single stitch and still twisting - i’m going to keep going until it’s closer to a square/is one. after opinions and tips based off of the look of this currently! anything noticeable with this currently that ‘pros’ can give tips or advice on?

need help. beginner crochet, i’ve been learning crochet for maybe a week now, focusing on single stitches and rows of those before continuing to other stitches. at first my works were curling but now i’m having the issue of twisting. more info below !

cont: i’ve tried tension rings but still having the issue. pictures attached! tips would be really appreciated as it’s kinda demotivating me </3 (first picture is my stitch when stretched out, second is it normally) i am using both the recommended 4.5mm hook and also trying a 5mm hook
