I have a guy on a different shift at my station that has less than 2 years on the floor, he was the slacker of our recruit class for reference. Since we have hit the floor it has been a steady pattern of him leaving equipment and personal belongings all over the station.

When he first started leaving gear on the truck we used to pull his gear up on the hanger used to air dry bunker gear, helmet, face piece, we would never leave without telling him where his gear was for shift. There was no ill intent, just a light hearted way to hopefully help him remember his gear around the station but it would never start.

Furthermore I have to share the same bunk that he uses and he constantly leaves dirty laundry and trash like Girl Scout cookies and shit, we just got over a mouse issue from this too. Even as far as us coming in and him leaving a bottle of Astro glide.

I have spoke with him multiple times and even mentioned it to his captain to see if his own crew would attempt to correct it.

Just to add to the rant, the guy comes in and has his PlayStation set up by 0830-0900 playing games and/or sleeping in the living room. Ive let our battalion chief(sets the roster for OT guys getting stationed to our shift) that our crew does not want him working with us bc he doesn’t take the job seriously.

I’ve went through every route I can think of to try and get this guy to not be such a slob and nothing has worked. Any other ideas on how to help fix the situation?

If any of this is confusing to follow, I didn’t proof read anything 😂

My wife’s birthday is coming up and has mentioned getting new earbuds. She currently uses some sort of Apple AirPods that she says is older. I would like to stay under $150. Is it possible to get a good set of earbuds at that price? I’ve been reading on here and there seems to be a ton of different thing that make an earbud “good”
