What is the ideal time to start e-mailing Prof. for university recommended MEXT?
I will be applying this year for the 2027 MEXT admission through university recommendation. Now, even after reading comments from previous posts, I am a bit confused about the ideal time to reach out to professors.
Some folks from YouTube says September is the ideal time to reach out, while other says we should start early from August. I know that this timing varies from university to university but generally: What is the ideal time to start mailing?
I don't want to send mail way to early because there is a chance that my email might get buried below other e-mails the professor might receive.
And, If i don't get any response from a professor, after how many days should I send follow-up mail? Is follow-up after 15 days ideal!
