Hello, I’m looking at replacing a truck with an ev. I have a 2027 trail seeker touring lined up for an otd price of 53,000. However I’m seeing a lot of 2023 luxury awd solterras for sale for 30,000.

My main motivations for an ev is cost savings, I know I’d be giving up range and interior volume, but a 23,000$ difference between the two is hard to ignore.

I’d be charging at home on a lvl 2 charger every night. My commute now is only 35km of highway each way but low chance it might change to 150km of highway each way. I live in the southern interior of bc.

If anyone has insight or experience with these cars that would be great to help me make a decision.
