Thoughts on pre-loved Kamito Alpha X Her for ₱9,000? Need advice for my first high-end paddle!

Hey guys! So I’m currently eyeing a pre-loved Kamito Alpha X Her being sold for ₱9,000. The seller mentioned they bought it last June (so around 2 months ago pa lang) and that it’s "lady-owned" with pictures provided naman.
Since this is going to be my very first mamahalin (high-end) paddle if ever, kinakabahan ako magkamali ng bili. Super worth it ba siya for that price given the age? Also, how do I check if it’s legit and not a rep/fake before I pull the trigger?

Drop your thoughts and tips naman diyan, hihihi

Thank you so much! 🙏🤍

Viper’s Peak to Panday Falls – Any tips for first timers? 😅

Hi guys!

Me and my friends are planning to hike Viper’s Peak to Panday Falls this weekend. First time namo tanan so medyo excited but also lowkey nervous.

Just wanted to ask sa mga nakaadto na:
● What time should we start? Better ba super early or okay ra around 6-7 AM?
● What should we wear? Hiking shoes ba jud kailangan or okay ra trail runners? Shorts or leggings?
● What should we bring aside from water and snacks? Any essentials na basin makalimtan namo?
● Kumusta ang trail? Beginner-friendly ba siya or naay parts nga medyo lisod?
● Worth it ba mag-swim sa Panday Falls? Should we bring extra clothes?
● And pinaka-importante… need ba jud ug guide?

Nakakita kog uban posts nga okay ra DIY, while others recommend getting one. Unsa inyo experience?

Any other tips or things you wish you knew before going?

We just want to be prepared and enjoy the trip without making rookie mistakes. 😂

Salamat daan! 🫶

Graduated with a Computer Science degree but now I want to become a dermatologist. Where do I even start?

I’m looking for some honest advice from people who took a non-traditional path into medicine.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and I’m currently working full-time. Financially, I’m in a position where I can finally afford to go back to school, and over the past few months I’ve realized that what I truly want is to become a dermatologist.

I know it’s a long road ahead, and I’m not expecting shortcuts. I’m just trying to figure out the smartest way to start.

Since I’m still working, I was thinking of using my free time to prepare for the NMAT first. Is that the right first step? Or should I be taking prerequisite science subjects before even thinking about the NMAT?

For anyone who came from a completely different field:
- What was your first step?
- How long did it take you to transition?
- Were you working while preparing for the NMAT?
- Any review centers or study materials you’d recommend?

Thanks in advance! I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar situation or knows someone who has.
