The allergen intro anxiety is real
We just started solids with our 5 month old and I knew early allergen intro was important but actually doing it is a whole different story lol. Every time I introduce something new I'm basically just staring at her for two hours waiting for something to happen.
We've done peanut and egg so far with no reactions which is a huge relief, but I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. How often are you supposed to give it? Do you keep offering it every day forever? What happens if you miss a few days?
Would love to hear how other parents handled the whole process, especially those of you who had eczema babies or a family history of allergies. Did anything make it feel more manageable?
