SadaPay x Tapmad Google Pixel winner announcement update?
Back in February, I got an email from SadaPay promoting a Tapmad + SadaPay campaign during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The email literally said:
“The one user with the highest watch time will win a FREE Google Pixel phone”
To participate, people had to:
• subscribe to Tapmad using their SadaPay card
• keep the subscription active throughout the campaign
• watch matches on Tapmad
So people were actively spending money and engaging with the campaign based on the expectation that there would actually be a winner announced.
Fast forward to now, months later, and there has been:
• no public winner announcement
• no transparency
• no follow up email
• nothing on their socials that I could find
I contacted SadaPay support asking what happened, and this was their explanation:
“SadaPay has not announced an official date for the Google Pixel 10 giveaway winners, as the Pixel 10 series has not yet been released.”
Here’s the problem:
The original campaign never even mentioned “Pixel 10.” It just said “Google Pixel.”
The Pixel 10 series already released months ago anyway.
It’s now May 2026 and they’re still giving vague answers instead of simply saying whether a winner exists.
This honestly feels extremely shady. If you run a promotional giveaway tied to paid subscriptions, there should at least be:
• a clear winner announcement
• proof the giveaway happened
• transparency about the selection process
Otherwise it just looks like engagement bait to get people to subscribe and watch content.
Did anyone else participate in this campaign or ever see a winner announced?
