The rod in my ankle has snapped and I need surgery for it to be removed. Workcover won’t pay for my surgery so I need to pay it all myself or go back to the UK for it done which id rather not. Anyone had any hardware removal here and how much did it cost?
Been using Reta for almost 4 months now and honestly I felt like it’s lost its spike. The food noise is back and I plateaued in weight loss. Went up to 3mg from 2mg pw and holy shit the anxiety I get on day 6/7 is horrible. Heart pounding and don’t want to leave my house 😬 plus I feel like I could everything that’s in my fridge. anyone else experience withdrawal like symptoms? I’m going back down to 2mg
Hardware noted at the ankle. There is scarring and healing of the syndesmotic ligament. The anterior talofibular ligament is thickened and hyperintense, consistent with scarring.
There is a non-united fracture of the medial malleolus with mild bony oedema within the malleolus. There is joint space narrowing in the medial compartment. Minor irregularity at the deltoid ligament and there is mild tibialis posterior tenosynovitis.
I’m at the doctors this week but I’m anxious about getting told I don’t need surgery even though I’m in discomfort every single day! Thanks 🙏🏻
Had an ultrasound because my legs been swelling all the time after work and it turns out it’s because some of the screws are loose. When I went back to the doctors she was very nonchalant about it? Is this not quite dangerous for me? Should I not be getting surgery asap? Lol
