No compression and wont start
Brigs and scrap 15 year old craftsman pressure washer wont start
Heres what ive done
-New intake valve stem old was out of spec
Center punched the valve seat on the intake because it was litterally coming out (check comments for photos)
-new carb seat (was leaking gas)
-cleaned up the exhaust stem
-lapped the valves for better seal
-new gaskets (head,crankcase cover, breather,float bowl seal)
-removed the rust on the flywheel and ignition system)
Only thing i havent done is new piston rings (only other thing i can think of with little to no compression)
Another thing about the valves when theybare compression i could be wrong but they shouldnt be able to move around freely like that when used my fingers
Its possible the intake valve seat i center punched wasnt good enough to hold compression but i looked at it and seemed sealed. I also havent sprayed starter fluid in the intake which i probably should do if that helps
