Yikes.
Our oldest just turned 2, and our youngest is 10 months. YUP! 14 months apart.
Honestly, 2 under 2, wasn’t terrible for us.. but this next season of life, whatever we call THIS.
Is… definitely more challenging than anything else. IT HAPPENED OVER NIGHT.
Sleeping opposite schedules, which means I’m back to zero break. And honestly, it’s just BUSY. ALL. THE. TIME.
Our 2 year old is learning to talk, and having a hard time expressing emotions, so hitting and (now biting again), has began..
All while our 10 month old is learning to climb things, trying to walk, trying to go up the stairs, taking everything (& I mean everything) from our oldest.. which is causing double melt downs.
I have no family near by, that ever lends a hand, & my husband works 60-70 hours a week in blue collar. PLUS we have A TEENAGER.
Yup, you read that right.
I’m over powered, out numbered, and some days.. no one getting injured is our only victory.
I hope it gets better eventually, but in the mean time.. I salute you all, my friends. It’s been real, it’s been fun (most days) it’s been real fun (not really, but positive mind set right?!?) 🫶
