[OC] The Halls Speculative Project

Hello there! Welcome to The Halls! The idea around the project is fairly simple. What if the Backrooms had an ecosystem. I've made a couple animals, plants, fungi, and environments that I'm going to share in the future, but here's some examples. Note that I'll probably revisit these descriptions in the future.

DOORKNOB SPIDER-
Ostium imitatio
Spiders that have evolved to grow abdomens resembling that of various types of doorknobs. They build nests in doors and attack any prey that comes by. Does not make webs to hunt, but instead uses them to help them anchor in place. Will stay in one door until the end of its lifetime. There are many sub-species of Doorknob Spiders, each with a different hue or shape of abdomen.

TILE ROACH-
Pestilentia balnei
Square shaped roaches that live in colonies. Blend in with bathroom or kitchen tile to avoid getting eaten. Wings have evolved into a strong protective shell that allows them to withstand immense amounts of pressure with little injury. Have fights with other colonies, like ants. Eat mold and old food that The Halls drag in.

LIGHTKEEPER-
Sol ambulans
Bipedal creature that is constantly emitting a bright light from its body. Feeds off of electromagnetic waves in a process called Astrasynthesis, and throws out any excess in the form of light and sound. Catches stray radio signals. Solitary and rare.
