Many Clues and answers in Earlier series

"I remember what it was like before" says James (( actually meaning before their baby son died )) - then the Matthews family encountered the tree. Did something stir a memory in Tabitha from previous lifetime?

"Take them with you when you go" - the advice that "a lady" (( Possibly Julie storywalking or ...? )) told the young Jade Herrera - understood at the time to refer to Jade's grieving his guardian in France but may actually be the answer to how to deal with the sacrificed childrens' bones.

"She never changes does she?" One of the first lines Boyd says to Ellis, regarding Fatima - ironically that she will in fact change by end of s4 - Boyd told Ellis that he would need to be the part of her that remains tethered - but Ellis failed due to his unwillingness ot want to accept what was really happening to his wife.

"Going to be poolside" (paraphrasing) - said Dayle before entering the Faraway Tree. He got his wish.

Where's the Motel?
We have seen that in this 'cycle', Tabby began digging under the house and caused the entire building to collapse. Maybe in some previous cycle, the motel was the building destroyed by Miranda or previous incarnation trying to dig

Sophia

(( SPOILERS FOR SERIES 4 IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT ))

There are a number of instances where very specifically the script involves some townsperson talking to "Sophia" and either "her" or thew townsperson make a comment about "her" 'father' obviously the townsperson is meaning Dunne, but there is something in the way "Sophia" "herself" says "My Father" which I cannot help but feel is a littl emore than just keeping up the pretence.

It's clear MIY enjoys the deceit and, so this could just be taking that extra pleasure - but part of me is also leaning towards the notion that whilst the townsperson in the conversation is referencing Dunne posthumously, MIY is actually talking about HIS (MIY's) "FATHER"
In a perversion of how Jesus of Nazarethspoke of the Divine Almighty, or Damien Thorne in the latter "The Omen" movies referred to his actual father when others were thinking of his human parental guardian.

Not saying MIY is the antichrist, but I am suspeting they may have a "Father" that is far more powerful and integral to the mysterious land of From...

Gertie Greenthumb

The writers were absolutely right, all the information to piece together the story is evident in the first series. or so.

The power of stories and of how myth and legend spreads to result in ritual and belief systems emerge from the powerr of those rituals.

There is no singular mythology nor metaphor at work, but a combination of the common agreeements of the many that truly believe and act accordingly.
The rest of the details have been filled in by watching the audience response, theorycraftting, conjecture, suspicion and which characters they like/dislike - furthermore adding ritual and belief systems into the appraisal of the meta which is driving the story.

A very large proportion of commenters didn't like James - the MIY expressly stated how much he did like the man.
A significant numebr of people expressed suspicion of Clara - the story is later updated to include her making deals with MIY -- this isn't changing a story once written, it is completing the writing in arrears.
Folks were also suspicious of Tilly, as result, the crows interrupted her Tarot and she was eventually murdered.
Many people believed the characters were in comas or were dead etc. so this becomes a trick to fool Henry, Christopher, Victor, Abigail, Clara, Bin-Quan etc.
There are considerable amounts of instances where characters' thoughts/faiths/beliefs, hopes/fears are manifest - in the same way, so are those of the audience.

The writers use the BIW and MIY to represent the game between the audience's desires and reactions. Do you simply want answers at a cost of the lives of the characters?
It's all star magic. The stars are the acting and production ability.

Ellis drew/painted pictures of Fatima so that means that she will be remembered as she was, just like she wanted to be, so (Gertie) may not completely be a monster.
