Am i the only one who skips the first episode of each season of cherry island and the older series with Jelly and Crainer?

I dont know if its just me but the first episode is honestly just boring

Couldn’t they just threaten the glossners with a firearm

I mean like if they are throwing rocks and vandalising and bullying the kids couldn’t one of the parents go out with a shotgun to scare them off? Or atleast why did they never call 911???
