Idk how to deal with my mom’s silent treatment
For context, my mom looked through all my messages on Pinterest and she saw my texts with someone whom I became friends with. She was worried if the person I was texting was a creep pretending to be a minor. I was convinced this was not the case because Pinterest is a very safe app for the most part and asked her not to look through it politely because I felt that she was invading my privacy, but she kept doing it. She got extremely mad at me for confronting her about it and won’t talk to me or acknowledge my existence. I know she meant well, but I feel like she was over reacting and I don’t know when she will start talking to me again. She has done this to me in the past many times before, but I can never seem to handle it. It doesn’t help that I’m still 15 so I’m basically helpless and trapped. If I were an adult it wouldn’t hurt as much because I could cut her off, but I still depend on her because I’m still a kid. Any advice on how to handle the situation would be appreciated. Sorry for my long rant lol
