1. your oc is vacationing out in the middle of scenic, mountainous Nowhere when the power goes off. Not just the power, but the WiFi as well. However, it seems your neighbor about half a mile away still has their power up. Maybe they’ll help you out.

2. Your OC is the kind of person who handles ‘issues’. The kind of issues one would handle discreetly and for quite a bit of money. You’ve been called out to the middle of Nowheresville, In the county of Nowhere. At the request of a frightened young woman who says she has a job. Well, she sounds rich, so it might be worth your time.

3. You’re OC is working as an Amazon driver delivering a package to the middle of Nowhere. Unfortunately your van gets a flat just as you get to your destination.

4. Your demon spawn OC has just been summoned from the realm of eternal darkness and suffering to do the bidding of the most inexperienced witch you’ve ever seen.

5. Your law enforcement OC has been called to investigate some weirdness on the outskirts of Nowheresville in the county Nowhere. Locals are scared stiff saying there’s spooks running about.

This individual is Benjamin Sharpe, an accomplished sorcerer from the Raya Lucaria academy. He staunchly supported the university’s independence from the Golden Order and fought on the swampy front lines against several invasion forces.

He was disgusted by Rennala’s marriage to Radagon of the Golden Order, and chose to leave the university instead of seeing his home united with its long term enemy.

He took a collection of students and soldiers who were similarly dissatisfied and traveled to the distant land of Caelid. Where he would go on to teach in the town of Sellia.

He spent most of his life hunting for magic artifacts and hoarding sorceries the academy might have considered unnatural. All so he may one day return to Raya Lucaria, and help free it from the accursed Golden order and its treacherous Queen.

He dies of old age before the events of the shattering… or so they say. Death is such a fickle thing after all.
