I bought this frame awhile ago and I've had it in my stash since then because I was waiting for it to tell me what it wanted me to put in it. It finally told me to make this pretty lady for it! She took me a few days to make and I'm pretty pleased with how she turned out. I still need to frame her better so the fabric is smooth and she's centered but other than that I think they look good together. I may go back in and try making the blush on one of her cheeks stand out less but that's a later problem lol

A little twist on a the painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Johannes Vermeer. She's made up of nine 2.5 x 3.5 artist trading cards with different mediums on them. In order the mediums are: colored pencil, gouache paint, graphite pencil, lino cut, alcohol marker, watercolor, ink pen, crayon, and digital art. I love how this turned out and I want to do something similar with different fiber art mediums. Which card/ medium is your favorite?

I couldn't sleep last night so I made a little friend out of things I had laying around. It took me about four hours from sketch to frame and it cured my insomnia for the night. I think I'll hang it next to the flower fairy I made.
