IMMIGRANT BOSS - COACH SINGH (What are your thoughts on this song?)
I’m new to this Reddit community, and honestly, I’m surprised in the best way possible. It’s rare these days to see people who genuinely love music enough to break songs down to their roots instead of just consuming whatever is trending for a week.
Me and Coach Singh have been friends since uni, and even back then this guy’s thought process was different. While most music today is built around ego, image, and empty glorification, he chose to speak on something people avoid talking about.
I’m living in Sydney, Australia, and racism towards Indians has genuinely been rising here lately. That’s why this song hit differently for me. It feels real, uncomfortable, and honest in a way most artists are too scared to be.
Curious to hear what you guys think about the song and the message behind it.🫶🏽
