Mod Message - All posts regarding Political and Religious Issues.

Since the release of Diljit’s new film Satluj, there has been an influx of posts about artists and their support towards Political and Religious issues regarding Punjab.

Most of these posts are made with good intentions and are primarily made to discuss artists, but comments are quickly turning into fan-wars and are becoming increasingly toxic.

Certain posts are also directly attacking other artists for not being a voice towards Political and Religious issues.

If a post is supportive of an artist and his actions towards Political and Religious issues regarding Punjab, it will be allowed to stay on the sub unless the comments section turns toxic and turns into fan wars with sub members being toxic towards each other. These posts will then be locked and members who directly comment with toxicity will be temporarily banned, and recurring members will be permanently banned.

Posts which are clearly inflammatory towards any artists for not speaking out on Political and Religious issues will be removed, and repeating members will be permanently banned.

Diljit Dosanjh & Sidhu Moosewala — Two artists who took risks beyond music

In my opinion, Diljit Dosanjh and Sidhu Moosewala are two Punjabi artists who have consistently used their platforms to bring attention to Punjab, Sikh history, and Punjabi identity—not just through music, but through their work as a whole.

Diljit has taken on projects that highlight difficult chapters of history and society. His films such as Punjab 1984 / Jogi, which is set during the 1984 sikh genocide, and Punjab '95 (based on the life of Jaswant Singh Khalra), as well as Satluj, reflect a willingness to tell stories connected to Punjab and Sikh issues.

Sidhu Moosewala did something similar through his music. "SYL" addressed the Sutlej–Yamuna Link canal dispute and broader concerns about Punjab. Across multiple songs, he referred to Punjab as "my motherland", spoke about preserving Punjabi identity, and included references to Sikh history, the issue of Sikh prisoners, and the pride of Punjab's culture.

Whether someone agreed with all of their views or not, both artists took creative risks and built careers that went beyond making hit songs. For many fans, they became cultural voices who represented Punjab on a much larger stage.

Diljit Dosanjh & Sidhu Moosewala — Two artists who used their platform for Punjab

Do you think any other Punjabi artist has had a similar impact, or do Diljit and Sidhu stand in a league of their own?

While people appreciating Diljit and Sidhu, I think we should appreciate Babbu Maan Also

There is a lot of unnecessary hate for Babbu Maan. But his contribution for community is unmatched.

Any updates about Legacy?

He did mention a new album in his recent vogue video.
When will it come?
What kind of album to expect.Similar to newer albums like aura and ghost or his older tru skool type music?

Unpopular Opinion :- Navaan Sandhu's "Star Girl" from "Bipolar" Album will sound Fire in Cocktail 2's Beach Scenes. If they don't make a Remake out of it and use it how the Song Originally is.

This is what paid pr looks like

Can someone care to explain how can someone think this is a high budgeted video? 🤣 I mean if you really want to see high budgeted videos, look at Diljit’s, smg’s or what honey singh used to do back in the day.
