Defend your favorite book!
I am in the biggest reading slump. I need you to share what book you will recommend to your grave!!
Things I love from books:
strong storytelling
competent FMCs or MMCs
emotional payoff
camaraderie/team dynamics
action + momentum
adult tone
magic abilities (not wizard school vibes)
My favorite books: Throne of Glass, Red Rising, Plated Prisoner, The Kindred’s Curse Saga, War of Lost Hearts.
I stopped reading Blood and Ash (too cheesy and mediocre writing) Serpents and the Wings of Night (I don’t like vampires)
