Hey all — looking for some experienced perspectives here, especially from those who’ve owned or serviced a Royal Oak.

I’m considering purchasing a Royal Oak 15510ST from a grey dealer I’ve worked with before. They’re reputable and I’ve had good experiences with them, so no concerns there. They have been honest, forthright and responsive in all my dealings with them.

The watch is overall in very good condition, but there’s a small nick on the bezel around 1 o’clock, specifically on the polished bevel edge.

I’ve attached photos — in some lighting it’s subtle, in others you can definitely see it.

My main questions:

How big of a deal is this in your view on a Royal Oak?

Has anyone had AP refinish something similar?

Can AP remove a nick like this during service without softening the bezel geometry?

Or does any polishing inevitably take away from that sharp “Royal Oak edge” and finishing magic?

I know AP does full refinishing rather than spot work, so I’m especially interested in real-world outcomes from people who’ve gone through that process. Please note - I’m not thinking of having it polished next week. Rather, I would like to know that at a point in the future when it’s ready for a full service, this won’t hold it back from being able to return to original condition without losing the AP magic.

Appreciate any input — especially from owners who are picky about finishing (which I definitely am).
