Hunger Games

I had a doubt

We know that the tributes consist of boys and girls of 12 to 18 years, right? What happens if one of the girls gets her periods while she's inside the arena? And did any girl ever get her first period while participating? It's a silly thought but that's what u think at 1 at night as a girl!

Main Vaapas Aaunga

Just watched 'Main Vaapas Aaunga' on netflix and cried like a baby. The partition horrors and the ending scene in particular were very touching. Imtiaz Ali, as always, won my heart with his storytelling. I'm still high on the film, so it might take time to be able to pick its demerits. You can see elements of his previous film 'Chamkila' in this one. The music was top notch. Performances by the cast was perfect. Though I'm a little upset with the character of Keenu. He first promised Jiya to not leave without her permission and then quietly went back from her house without even meeting her. I can understand what he must have been feeling. What with all his family's women and then getting to know his love is married now, but imagine what Jiya must have felt. She waited her whole life for him and then died without closure. Anyways, I'm in love with this one. And also very excited to see future projects of Vedang Raina (Keenu). He has obviously proven his mettle with this film and also Jigra. Side note, I loved the on screen chemistry of Sharvari and Vedang. Their love gave me flutters!
