I’m considering working in D75 as a teacher since I’m currently a para. I applied to Teaching Fellows but never heard back so now I’m figuring out what to do next. Originally I wanted to get a masters in Social Work to become a school social worker but after talking to a lot of people and realizing how scarce those positions are, I’ve decided to dive into teaching. Only thing is I don’t want to be a classroom teacher. I know for ENL you co-teach, which is fine, but I think gen-ed you may have your own classes. At the D75 school I work at both ENL teachers do not teach their own class just pull kids out, and push in. Both ENL and phys ed seem great honestly, wouldn’t mind doing either one.

What are your suggestions? Which should I go for?

I also have a bachelors not in education so I’m asking for masters level.
