Ignorance will be the downfall of humanity

This is just about my experience in general, but there are a lot of people out there who lack the ability to have a constructive conversation with someone who differs from them.
In my experience it seems to be a knowledge issue as well as a logical comprehensive issue.

I also think people lack the understanding of how the world actually works through different disciplines such as economics, math, and history.

What bothers me the most about this is specifically influencers because there’s a lot of people out here spewing crap about things they don’t even understand or actually put in the effort to know and people are eating it up out of the palm of their hand like it’s the truth.

I don’t think everybody needs to agree on things, but it just seems that nowadays blanket statements and basic google searches as evidence are the status quo in the social media world which if anything is counterintuitive to constructive debate.

If people can’t step into another person shoes to see both sides of an argument and truly UNDERSTAND and RESPECT the differences, then we are screwed as a species.

Lastly, this is just a PSA but I know all of us are different and have different experiences, but it shouldn’t stop us from loving each other.
I just wanna say I love each one of you who view this and I wish you the best in life. Sorry for the rant. This is just something that has been on my mind recently and it’s made me a little sad.
