Need help to understand where i am going wrong.
Hello micro1 team,
I’m writing this with genuine respect and a sincere request for clarity regarding my application results on the platform.
I was selected for my very first role, but after that I’ve continued applying and interviewing for positions that strongly match my professional background — especially in video editing, post-production, AI video evaluation, and creative workflows. Despite improving my understanding of the platform and refining my interview approach, I’m still receiving outcomes like “Did Not Qualify” or “Not Selected.”
What’s confusing for me is that:
- I have 10+ years of professional experience in these fields.
- My listed skills align closely with many of the job requirements.
- I carefully reviewed the role descriptions before interviewing.
- I even recorded my last two AI interviews and reviewed them with external AI analysis tools to understand where I might be falling short.
- Based on the role requirements and my responses, the feedback I received externally suggested my interviews were strong enough to move forward.
I’m not claiming your evaluation criteria are wrong. I fully respect that there are internal standards and processes I may not be aware of.
What I’m asking for is transparency and guidance:
- What exactly leads to a “Did Not Qualify” result vs “Not Selected”?
- Is it based on communication style, specific keywords, response structure, confidence, technical depth, availability, or something else?
- Are there hidden evaluation benchmarks candidates should know?
- Is there still a realistic chance for me to be hired/onboarded for future roles on the platform?
I’ve already reached out twice previously but unfortunately received answers that felt too general to help me improve meaningfully. I genuinely want to adapt and perform according to your expectations instead of repeating mistakes without understanding them.
I’m in a difficult stage of life financially and personally, and securing remote work opportunities like these matters deeply to me and my family. I’m not asking for sympathy or special treatment — only honest direction so I can improve in the right way and avoid losing opportunities that seem aligned with my experience.
I would truly appreciate any constructive feedback or clarification you can provide.
Thank you for your time.
