Hey all,
I'm trying to lose some weight and I'm pretty hard trying to eat very clean and working out. I'm very lucky to have access to alot of healthy food and time to work out.
The problem is that however balanced I eat I cannot stop late night cravings.
Ill give an example of what I ate the last 3 days
- day starts with grek yogurth some oats, blueberries, strawberries and 1 date.
- the same tuna salad: olive oil, tuna (in own water), some bread, salad and tomatoes and onion
- evening: some sort of fish with salad, I'll eat some rice or some bread with it and some vegetables
- snacsk: I allow myself to snack on some sweets or a cookie sometimes fruit and often olives or that Italian salty snack bean
Overall I don't count my calories but I do think there is a good balance.
I think my diet is super balanced. I eat my protein, try to have enough fiber and some healthy fats but for some reason I ALWAYS end up craving alot of food before I go to bed. It doesn't seem to matter what I ate that day, I end up wanting to eat a huge amount before bed.
Or try to eat a snack before bed like those beans or olives or a bit of chocolate or a cookie, but I literally cannot stop myself. If I had 2 or 3 days where I can kind of stop myself I always end up the 4th day eating unhealthy during the day or even the healthy food I end up eating so much I'm so overfull just before I go to bed.
I really want to stop eating right before bed beacsue it's the only thing that is keeping me off track.
I should also add that I'm not letting myself be hungry. Even when I Dont have "bad snacks" at home I'll end up making something with ingredients or just a big amount
