Hey guys.
This morning I received this email from Instagram.
What this reads is :
Please verify that you are a real person to use your account, [username]
180 days remaining to verify your identity
Continue
Why you’re seeing this
This measure is based on our Community Guidelines regarding account integrity and our efforts to enhance your safety and that of our community.
What this means
Your account is currently not visible on Instagram, and you cannot use it.
What you can do
You have 180 days to complete the verification process, or we will permanently deactivate this account.
Problem is, when I tried to click the "Continue" button to log in to take a selfie or whatever, my account was fully blank, and suddenly a message "Unexpected error, please try again later".
Then I try on my laptop, click the button, log in, and I get a message "Failed to load". In the URL bar, I see a /suspended/, which would mean my account is now fully suspended?
This is so freaking dumb, I read the whole "Help" Center, talked to their dogshit AI, got me nowhere. Tried resetting my password, reinstalling the app, anything to no avail.
The only shady thing I did was use the No Distractions Instagrams apk, but how could they know that?
Is there any way to verify I'm human without logging in? How can I make an appeal for the suspension with no email about it? Is there a support adress somewhere?
Thanks for your help
