i knew i was attracted to women since i went through puberty, but i somewhat repressed myself due to my very religious family and community which made me feel like having interests in anything that could be perceived as gay was “too weird.” that also included anything outside of mainstream popular culture for some reason. but i didn’t really have interest in very mainstream things. i think that led my interests to be very underdeveloped and now i don’t feel like i connect with anyone. i love art and creating things, i don’t think im boring necessarily but sometimes i don’t feel like i have a lot to talk about to bond with people and that’s a bit isolating😔
