Skeletor and Trap Jaw arrived early from BBTS this afternoon and I found Battle Cat at Target this morning.
Trap Jaw might be my new favorite. He’s a big chonky boy and I think he would easily fit in with non-movie figures. He makes Tri-Klops look like a shrimp next to him.
Skeletor has some QC issues with his knees but it’s not a problem if I don’t bend them all the way. I’m just going to say he has arthritis. But I’m impressed at the details especially with the cape. It’s that soft plastic but it’s so textured it almost feels like cloth or leather.
Battle Cat is great. It baffles me how his eyes follow you. I don’t really have an issue with the helmet falling off as long as I’m not messing with but it doesn’t really click in or have anything that holds it in place so I can see people having problems. No paint on the saddle details is a minor gripe but otherwise it looks great.
