Me(20) and my ex-girlfriend(19) of three years, recently broke up. The relationship ended after I unfortunately found out she cheated on me. Not with 1, not 2, but 3 other dudes. i’ve dealt with the pain and anguish, and the fact that all three guys were ugly as shit makes me feel way better. I’ve gotten rid of most of her things, our pictures, and memories together.
But what to do with this Bible? No clue and I could really use some help.
We both are practicing Christians, and her more than me ironically. I burned most of the paper and/or flammable items, and of course donated what I could. i’ve been procrastinating this for a while, both cause I feel uneasy about burning a Bible, and because she customized the book specifically for me.
She wrote an entire index, with a list of personal verses she picked out for me. She also wrote me a little notes throughout the whole book, multiple “i love you”s, prayers that we would always be there for each other, ect. I can’t donate it for that reason, and obviously it invokes a variety of emotions in me, so I’m having a hard time deciding what to do…
