I'm thinking about an HTV game about inquisitors who investigate a supernatural murder in the outskirts of medieval England (XV–XVI), and it seems so strange to me that the Chronicles don't have a setting for medieval European Inquisition. Yes, there is Arthur's Britannia, but it's too early for the Inquisition, and I don't really like the early medieval period. The Inquisition's image is popular in the mainstream when we think of vampires and witches, so... why? Does an Inquisition chronicle have fundamental problems that ruin the HTV idea?
If not, are there good homerules or some directions for making Inquisition hunter games?
