Hey, I’m looking for an OLED gaming monitor and wanted some recommendations.

My budget is around $500 or less (absolute max $550) and I’m located in the United States. I mainly play competitive games (so low latency and high refresh rate matter) but I also play story games, so I want something that looks really vibrant and visually impressive.

What I’m looking for:

  • OLED panel
  • 240Hz or higher refresh rate preferred
  • Very low input lag / fast response time
  • Good color accuracy and strong HDR performance (for immersive games)
  • 27-inch preferred, but open to similar sizes if it’s better value
  • Overall best balance between competitive performance and visual quality

I’m trying to find the best options in this price range since OLEDs are usually expensive, so any monitors that actually fit under this budget or go on sale would be really helpful.

Which monitor is better?

I currently use the HP Omen 27i, and I play both competitive games and story games where I care about smooth performance and good visuals between the Acer Predator X27U A1 and the LG 27GX700A, which one is better overall and worth the price?
