My PC experiences major and constant stitches/hitches while playing 2D side-scrolling Metroid-Vania's... Except when OBS is recording?
I know this is a very specific issue, but in games such as Hollow Knight, Silk Song, Constance, and Nine Sols my computer experiences major and relatively constant stuttering/hitching. My theory is that these games tend to run at high frame rates, so I attempted to limit frames with my AMD Control Panel, but that didn't seem to fix anything. However, whenever I am recording gameplay with OBS, the issues completely and entirely go away. I assume this is because OBS limits something with my PC in regards to FPS, graphics settings or something else, but I have no idea how to figure out what it changes. If anyone has any ideas of how to fix this strange issue or what OBS is altering with my PC, your input would be greatly appreciated! (This issue also started only a few months back, but I've had this PC for a few years now, so it shouldn't be anything specially with my PC build like my GPU or Mother Board.)
