Lost passport time line
So a few weeks ago me and my bf applied for passports and i got mine within a week and a half and he got a letter stating he has one issued to him in 2022 and had to respond to the letter and his application is on hold in the meantime. he responded and reported it lost but that was almost two weeks ago and his status hasn’t changed. We keep calling and getting told to “wait til he two week mark and if nothings changed we can talk about options then”. We have a vacation planned in about 3 weeks and still his status isn’t updated and they haven’t received the d’s-11 form at the Huston location where they need it. I guess my question is, how long until it gets processed and his new application gets approved? And what can we do if it’s been over two weeks sent we sent it and nothings changed?
