Chronic hives and itching after taking Bupropion (Wellbutrin)
Hi everyone,
I was prescribed Bupropion about a year and a half ago. Two weeks into taking it, I started breaking out in unbearable hives and itching all over my body.
I immediately stopped the medication, visited a dermatologist, and took prescribed Cetirizine and Desloratadine for a few months... But despite that, these stubborn hives became chronic. It's been a year and a half now, and they still won't go away.
Before taking Bupropion, I had never experienced hives once in my entire life, so I’m honestly so frustrated and overwhelmed...
Is there anyone else out there who has gone through something similar? I’d love to hear from anyone who is currently treating this, or especially anyone who has successfully cured it. Any advice or insight would be deeply appreciated. Thank you! 🙏
