I'm currently in college (online) and have never had a girlfriend before because of my parents. They want me to focus on finish getting my degree before anything else major in my life. They are really strict (because they worry) and aren't the "laid-back/chill parents" throughout my whole life. I wasn't really able to attend parties or other social events because my parents saw them as a waste of time. You all are probably thinking "why haven't you just ignored what they said and enjoy life a little?", and my answer to that is because I don't want to lose their trust and I want to inherit the family business. So far, I have only talked to girls online through video games or social media and wonder if I could possibly start a long distance relationship. This narrows it down to one problem, I don't know where to meet people with similar interests as me. Also TBF, I am a shy guy when it comes to interacting with women because i've literally been to an all boys school my whole life and don't ever hangout with any female friends. Any advice would be very much appreciated
tldr: I am a 19M college student with little to none experience with females and strict parents who won't let me date because they want me to focus on my future and not some random girl who will stray me away from my degree and inheriting my family business.
