Is it just me or whenever I try to record videos on my 4a pro, the auto exposure goes crazy

On delhi katra expressway, "jeep" on the right goes crazy and bumps the truck, making the truck swerve right as we were overtaking them. So had to push into the barricade to avoid collision with truck causing some side body damage.
