Hey all,

So my fiancé is Swedish (Finnish, technically), and I have an application in for Sambo. The latest I can book is June, and I must book within 30 days.

I work for the government of Canada, and I can't simply drop my duties and say 'Bye!'.

All communication for Canada is now routed through Washington D.C and they seem less than helpful. Any advice?

I mentioned that I'll be in Ottawa in August, and that I'll be back in Sweden in July, and nobody seemed to be willing to give me an extension, unfortunately.
