Hi ladies! I hesitated on the Maria shirt and was only able to grab a size bigger than my usual, a size 4. It arrived today, and to my surprise, it was a lot of fun styling it.

The entire shirt is made of cotton with 12% linen. The embroidery is in polyester. It feels heavy in a substantial way and more linen than cotton. The color is more white than ecru.

The fit is oversized but not ridiculously so, even for a size bigger on my petite frame. The cape at first sticks out at the end of the shoulders, but after I steamed it out, it draped appropriately. The length is longer, but not in an awkward way.

This is a very dramatic shirt, and I am crazy about it. It’s charming and romantic but definitely on the casual side. You can see in my photos that I styled the cape in various ways, and I really enjoyed it.

I would still order a size 2 if it ever becomes available again for sizing comparison, but honestly, the 4 works too.

Hello ladies, I received the Sophie cardigans today, and they did not disappoint. The color is a stunning, sophisticated warm rust red. The fabric is soft, thick, and substantial enough to justify its price.

I ordered both XS and XXS sizes, aware that the silhouette might be overwhelming for my petite frame if it was too oversized. For reference, I’m 5’3”, 115 pounds, and have a 25-inch waist.

I actually prefer both sizes for different reasons. The XS is slightly oversized and exudes effortless coolness. The XXS is more structured and proportional to my body. If I were to wear this cardigan as a jacket, I would opt for the XS. However, since I plan to wear it under a coat this winter, I’ll choose the XXS. I also considered carrying my handbags and moving around, which I’ll be more comfortable in the slightly smaller sleeve of the XXS.

I received the Darina today, and I absolutely adore it. However, it doesn’t quite suit me. The oversized fit feels more like wearing a costume than being effortlessly chic. It’s definitely a bit too dramatic for my taste.

I genuinely wish it could work because the guipure lace is stunning and of high quality. The color is the perfect shade of milky warm ecru. While it’s on the higher price point, I could justify it if the fit was more cropped or fitted.

I’m sharing some try-on pics, and the last one is a comparison to my Aly blouse, which I feel more effortlessly stylish in.

I still can’t believe I got the legendary Jorden blouse from archives for $80 after stalking it for many seasons! It arrived today in perfect condition and the most beautiful green! 🥰
