Lanksa Dress and Bridget Knee Boots for the office yesterday

I didn’t expect it to but this dress does a good job at hiding the fact that I’m seven months pregnant.

Difference in care labels for the same shirt?

Hi everyone! I just want to preface this by saying I’m not very familiar with Sezane so I apologise if this is common knowledge. I did search this sub before asking but couldn’t find a clear answer.

I have a much beloved Chlo navy silk blouse and recently bought a second one pre-loved for a great price. Once it arrived, I noticed the fabric is slightly different and it has different care labels. The second, newly purchased blouse is on the left of the images, my older blouse is on the right. It may easily be the case that Sezane updated their care labels and the second one has the newer labels, but I just wanted to check!

Apologies for the poor lighting and picture quality, and thank you in advance for helping!

Help me to choose one trench coat please (Sezane/ Aritzia)

I’m deciding between the Aritzia the regent trench coat (1) and the Sézane Clyde coat (2), which one do you think looks better and is more versatile style wise?
They’re both the smallest size available and around the same price. The Sézane one seems a bit thinner and doesn’t have an inner pocket, while the Aritzia one does.

Sezane Lupya top

Here’s my very own review of the new version of the Lupe top, now known as Lupya.

I’m 162 cm tall and wearing my usual size 2 here.
I would say it’s true to size if you have a smaller cup size, but if not, sizing up might be a good idea since the bust area can feel a bit tight.

I absolutely loved this top, and now I’m trying it with a different outfit.
It’s a linen and cotton mix, and I would say it’s not see-through at all. I’m wearing a cotton bra underneath.

The lace details and scalloped edges are so beautiful 🤍🥺.

One of the cons, though, is the buttons. I honestly cannot get into it unless I unbutton pretty much everything.

Other than that, the bust area is a bit open, so if you were to kneel down or bend over, it would show a good amount of cleavage.

But other than that, what do you guys think?
I posted a different post asking for advice on whether I should get Giselle instead, but now I’m thinking maybe I should get both??

Does Sézane spray dresses?

I want to order a couple of Sézane dresses for an event but the last time I ordered a sweater the package was doused in perfume and caused an asthma attack. Does anyone know if they spray the dresses with perfume too? I’m hoping it’s just sweaters.

Archives closed?

I can't find the archives in my App anymore, so I guess they are closed? Archives items on my wishlist are still available. Should I buy asap or can I buy them in the future since they are on my wishlist?

Thank you!

Avery Jacket

One more question for you guys since you were so helpful with my last post.

I purchased the Avery Denim Jacket secondhand for about half off the retail price. And I’m not sure if I like it? Are the sleeves too big? And what do I wear it with? I don’t think I like it with the jeans I’m wearing in the photo, but I don’t really know how to style it. I love the look of denim jackets, but I struggle with knowing what to pair them with because I don’t love the denim on denim look unless they are a perfect match. I did try the matching jeans but they were not a good fit for me.

Any suggestions on how to style it or should I just try reselling?

Accidentally washed Bobby Jacket

I’m usually a very close to detail person, however I was in a rush to pack for NYC and thought maybe the Bobby jacket could handle the washing machine on cold (but no dryer!). I feel like the material of the jacket is softer and has a less structured fit than when I first wore it off the rack. It’s also way more wrinkled. Does my jacket still look normal (I could be overthinking) and is there a way to revive it? 😓.

Pippa Dress

Long time lurking, First time posting 😀✋

Received my first Pippa dress yesterday, and I really like it even though I do not often wear big/loud patterns. The colors are bright and vibrant in real life; my bathroom’s lighting makes the dress look duller than it really is. I think it fits me well - a bit loose at the waist but the tie at the side and stretchy fabric help tighten it. The fabric is of a smooth, heavy-weighted, and stretchy cotton. The two side slits add interest and make it less matronly. Overall I think it’s a well-made, easy-to-wear, bright dress for summer which would work into fall.

What do you think?

Does anyone have this Odette dress?

I am wondering how is it? Is it thin cotton? And is it worth the price. Thank you ☺️

Picked up the Clyde coat on holiday in London

Came in for the light beige and left with the khaki! I love how soft and comfortable it is.

Alternatives to Sezane

Has anyone (specially those in France) tried anything from Maison Stella & Suzie? The designs on the site look beautiful and good quality.

She also suggests Maison Cléo, and Saaj Paris, but designs are too young for me, and use lots of polyester.

Outfit of the day

Everything Sezane except for the jeans. Sezane jeans doesn’t sit well with me. What do you think? I really love the top !

My new favorite

I was almost certain I was going to return this top (the Clary top), it arrived, I saw the sleeves and they were super puffy, and I was convinced it wasn’t a keeper. Then, I put it on. The color is stunning, it made me so happy. The details are beautiful, and the sleeves, while very whimsical, oddly don’t feel like they are too much. I ordered a size down from my normal size and I’m happy I did because it’s a very ample shirt.

Has anyone ordered Giselle top?

I'm looking for reviews on this Giselle top. I am torn between this one and the Lupya, and I'm thinking about returning the Lupya to get this instead as an alternative.

The problem I am having with lupya that it isn’t very practical and i have to unbutton and re-button the entire time just to put it on or take it off. Looks like, giselle top would be a more comfortable fit

Sezane Lupya Top

This is the updated version of the Lupe top (extra buttons at the bottom). It is not too low in the front. I am normally a size 2 but ordered a size 4. It’s very loose at the bust and okay at the waist, so this top should be true to size. I like loose-fitting tops, so I may keep the size 4. The quality is great!

Gift for my son’s teacher

Hey girlies
Do you think this is appropriate as a gift for my son’s teacher ? We really love her and I don’t want to gift a mug (I love sézane mugs though). I am really hesitating with appropriate gift ideas for this context from Sézane.
