Not a fan of the latest Sezane collection. Could you please share any recommendations for other brands that have the "old" sezane spirit, while still feel contemporary and having good quality materials?

I am sorry, not saying they look bad, the photos and products are stunning. But why would I shop at Sezane now if COS and Arket are giving me pretty much the same vibe?
Is it the quality? I mean they increased their prices I hope they increased the quality too. (you'd think)
Figured I would post these to help anyone else looking at some of the fall collection! This is the Edgar jumper in size T1. Sezane customer service told me T1 is for sizes 34-36. I'm usually a small in Sezane knitwear but between a small and medium for their other tops. It's a beautiful sweater - I love the color. Definitely boxy and oversized, I also got the T2 and it's massive. The sleeves especially are long, I have to cuff them and I thought I had long arms. It's a little heavy, I also have the Virgil and I would say it's a little lighter than that. I'm trying to decide whether to keep this one or grab the brown when it releases Sunday!
This is my Le Summer shorts after a couple of wears and not even washing it. The fraying is already progressing to the point that the shorts are visibly shorter. I am afraid a couple more wears and I will be left with some threads🤦♀️
What is worse is their customer support is saying this is natural fraying and it will gradually settle. Such a disappointment Sezane has become.
Ive always wanted one of these bags and im finally biting the bullet for my birthday. Just not sure which to choose - raffia plain or perforated? Anyone know if the perforated is more prone to fraying (saw on another post here that their perforated was fraying out of the box)?
I really love the darker color on the left as I feel it’ll go better with my deep skintone and outfits, but I love the design on the perforated more. Help me decide!
I’ve been eyeing the Gaspard for a while and unfortunately, there is no physical store here in Canada for me to go try it on.
Before I order it online (and before any artificial price increase from the rebrand), I want to see how it fits on a 5’2-3 height with a balanced torso. Specifically, I’m curious to where it hits on the body untuck.

The “new chapter” is giving men’s section from Zara and H&M. Where are the feminine silhouettes and intricate details? It’s so boxy, unflattering and brutalist.. I feel like nobody in their target audience likes this aesthetic change but let me know if anyone likes it because maybe I’m wrong on this one.

first time posting IRL pic! I was interested in the Alice dress but couldn’t find any reviews so I thought I’ll post this for anyone who might be considering it. :))
It’s from their spring collection but I think the colours are good for pretty much all seasons. I could wear it with tights/boots during the colder months too.
It’s a nice heavier weight linen mix material so it drapes nicely.
It’s a timeless cut and print, quite similar to the Neomia dress from a while back but this one the top is more modern and oversized. It’s a true wrap dress with a tie inside and a beautiful big tie outside. I love that the polka pots are beige not ecru. More neutral tone. The dress also comes in a gorgeous olive colour.
I’m 165cm or 5’5 took size 34 as a reference.
I've seen many complaints about the decay of quality and even the lost of the aesthetic that used to make Sezane cute and desirable. I drafted a starting point list, but would love to hear perspectives from people who have bought from these brands or other non listed.
The usual comparissons are:
Rouje (4.6 Trustpilot), Balzac Paris (4.5 Trustpilot) and Sessùn (No Score Trustpilot)
New brands (at least to me) that appeared while researching are:
Petite Mendigote (4.1 Trustpilot) , Nobody's Child (3.2 Trustpilot) and Hoss Intropia (1.9 Trustpilot)
I'm tempted to buy Rouje, Balzac and Petite Mendigote for the first time.
Thoughts?
Will it be plaid skirts and long/wool dresses like previous years? So far I only see denim short dresses and skirts and I’m not impressed.
Just wanted to share some positive feedback on a couple of Sézane items :)
I am wearing the Dune skirt, Edwin jumper in tangerine and Jack Cardigan in ecru.
I have said it before but the Edwin and Jack are amazing! You can still get them in the archives (at least in some sizes.) I also love the Dune skirts, the length is great for petites, too.

Has anyone had an issue like this with a Sézane return?
I placed an order for around £1,000 and returned most of it using Sézane’s own return label. I have video evidence of the items being packed, the box being sealed and labelled, proof of postage, and tracking showing the parcel was delivered. Sézane also confirmed they received the return.
After weeks of chasing, sending evidence and even completing a handwritten sworn statement, they’re now saying their workshop didn’t receive the return and are refusing the refund. Despite me fulfilling my obligations as a customer. The Royal Mail tracking shows it was delivered to them and I have an email from Sézane on the same day confirming receipt of this. Even if the workshop has lost it, I’ve done my part, so surely they must honour the refund as the issue is with their workshop and not me.
I’ve now disputed it with my credit card provider.
Has anyone else had this happen with Sézane? If so, what was the outcome?
Btw these are the CELESTYNE BLOUSE & MALIA SKIRT. I always wear the flats on the left, but was curious what others thought. Thanks!

When I finally made it to the actual Dresses page, most dresses have the same photos repeated over and over. It seems like they published the site before they were ready to or something.
Bonjour à toutes, j’ai récemment acheté les mules Doriane de Sézane et je les adore seulement… elles me détruisent les pieds. Je les ai portées 2 fois et 2 fois des ampoules partout : sur le haut du pied + sur les orteils. Je n’ai pas trop envie de les porter à la maison avec des chaussettes car j’ai peur qu’elles s’agrandissent trop et que mon pied ne tienne plus dedans (j’ai les pieds assez fins).
Avez vous une astuce pour aider les mules en cuir à être moins coupantes, avec ce modèle ou un autre ??
Ce n’est pas très chic avec des pansements partout… 🥲
