car will only start after i let it sit for a little [2007 honda civic]
sorry if this is a really stupid question i don’t have anyone in my life who can help me with my car problems :( i don’t know what to do
here’s what happened: so i was driving back, had my headlights on cause it was dark. i then noticed my car’s red battery signal turned on while driving. when i parked my car and turned it off, it didn’t start again. so i was panicking but after 15 mins i tried again, it did start, though made a funny start up noise. then i turned it off to try starting it up again, and it wouldn’t start right after.
so i let it sit overnight, and this morning i tried starting it again and it started again, but again made a funny noise [video of this morning’s attempt is linked]. i drove my car around for a little too and all was fine? i haven’t touched it since, it’s been an hour but i want to check again?
some extra context: i’ve had a lot of battery issues with this car, have changed the battery like 3 times but i haven’t had any issues for 7 months until last night, and right after i turned on my headlights. any advice on what this could be?
