Anyone notice a change in new animation renders from last year compared to this year?

Anyone notice a change in new animation renders from last year compared to this year?

Seems like they got more comfortable with making posters with the new models? Not entirely sure, but I view the recent ones as improvements.

Edit: New Artstyle*, thank you for the corrections.

If I was a miraculer and saw this I’d be terrified

A mysterious bee creature going around Paris, who may I remind you wasn’t above breaking and entering people’s home, and attacking bad people. That’s just STRIAGHT out of a children’s story you’d tell your kids so they’d behave. Seriously, how were the miraculers not at least a little scared when faced with this new opponent?

Could Zoe’s scrapped girlfriend been removed for Zoé and Sabrina?

Hello, I wanted to do a discussion today based on the infamous topic of Zoebrina. Not the quality of the ship, because not a lot of content with the two of them is out. But I am noticing they are together a lot of the time when they’re on screen. This is in large part due to Zoé kind of adopting Sabrina in the friend group and being there for her once Sabrina cut ties with Chloé, with Chloé moving to London shortly after. There seems to be scenes that read off as a possible beginning of a romance plot or off screen get-together(like julerose and Marcaniel) that may occur. As we know, or at least some of us know, there was a girlfriend planned for Zoé that would’ve been revealed in the episode Representation in season 5. The script itself included a scene where Zoé would introduce this girl named Eglantine to Marinette. Now you could raise the idea that they haven’t revealed her yet. But so far, Zoé has not mentioned dating any girl. We take notice after Daddycop that Zoebrina always seem so close together. Do you think the removal of this girlfriend was to make way for Sabrina and Zoé to develop a relationship? Do you think they’re just saving Eglantine for later down the road? I’m curious as to hear what people think of the topic.

With season 6 ending soon, is arc 2 looking promising to you?

Season 6 marks the beginning of a confirmed 3 season arc. The second arc starts with season 6 and ends at season 8, which begs the question, are you hopeful of the second arc with what we’ve seen from this season? I personally am really hooked to the story now more than ever and I’m excited to see where it takes us. Season 6 seems to set up plot points while developing the cast that will play vital parts across the next two seasons and I’m hoping we get to unravel so much from this arc. Anyways, I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts so far.

Something that bothers me when discussing Zoé Lee

I am a very open book when it comes to listening to every opinion people have about this character. But one really popular opinion with this character is in regard to her crush on Marinette. Often times, people will say that her liking girls is random or doesn’t add anything to her character but I feel as though that’s not true. Zoé Lees arc was about coming to terms with standing her ground to be who she is. She spent countless years pretending to be someone she’s not for the sake of acceptance. Personally, I think revealing she is queer definitely added a lot of weight to her backstory and how she acted. Letting everyone walk all over her, wanting desperately to find people who will accept her, her breaking down when running away wasn’t working and she needed to hide herself more because she wanted her sister to accept her. Her confronting her feelings head on after the kwamis choice helped push her arc further about embracing her truth and be unapologetically herself from here on out. It’s even to the point that her desire to never back down translated in her becoming Fury as a way to retaliate against being silenced. Her being gay adds a level of flavor to her character I genuinely appreciate and find myself relating to her even more.

Ok, I would be lying to myself if I said I wasn’t excited to see that Felix is officially moving to Paris. But now that’s got me wondering, how are they going to use Felix going forward? I’d love an episode where he’s trying to integrate himself in to Adrien and Marinettes friend circle with the help of Kagami. Also, we can’t forget that Lila is targeting him to gain access to the miraculers to get information. He’s a character with so much potential I truly hope they use him right. But what are you guys hoping for?

Ok so, I actually really enjoyed the game. I did mess up not doing Marie’s social link so I plan on replaying the game and making sure I squeeze out a lot of content.

My final team was: Yukiko, Teddie, and Kanji.

My thoughts on the story? It was actually so much fun. I appreciated the “filler” parts of the game with the crossdressing portions being really funny to me. I’d say my favorite characters were Teddie, Kanji, and Nanako as they had really funny moments and had nice arcs in my eyes. I found everyone in this group to actually be really likable so nothing was really hard to swallow. Yosuke’s comments and teasing towards Kanji did sometimes feel a bit much for my liking but personally it didn’t impact my perception of him too negatively.

Unfortunately I didn’t go in blind and knew Adachi was the culprit. Figuring him out and getting to the good ending wasn’t that hard because of it which kind of sucks cause I wished I could’ve figured it out on my own.

Nanakos was my favorite dungeon, it was simple and beautiful.

I did patrol the sub a bit to see discussions on the characters and was shocked to see so much discourse. Mainly with Naoto and Kanji. I thought both their arcs were really easy to understand. Naoto feeling the need to dress up as a guy to be taken seriously. Kanji not wanting to be defined by any of his traits. I felt a bit dissatisfied with the conversations about kanji in particular because everyone seems to lean so definitively on him being straight or gay. I thought the whole point was that it didn’t matter, girl or guy, he just was afraid of facing rejection and being defined by the things he likes and does. I more see him as unlabeled with him not caring about gender or labels. I feel like people are too quick to stomp down on the queerness that they tend to forget that labeling kanji as just straight can have just as much similar misinterpretation of his character as when people call him just gay. But that’s my own personal opinion on the matter.

Teddie being a shadow was honestly not even something I considered. Wasn’t shocked but was like “wow, that’s really nice!”.

It took me forever to catch that Rise has a crush on the protagonist. I just thought she was just playing in to the whole “appealing idol” thing and just being charming. When I finally realized I was like “woah that’s really sweet”. Unfortunately I couldn’t max out her social link to get the romance. I only wanted to romance her because it felt right to have her with Yu, just my own personal view point on it.

Chie and Yukiko had such eye catching designs. I loved them as a duo and that whole bad cooking thing during the camping trip. Chie may or may not have inspired me to get a track jacket.

King moron dying was unexpected, but I should’ve seen it coming because he’s literally dead in the intro. I don’t skip the intro much either, I love shadow world.

I know there’s a final secret boss but unfortunately I left Inaba before I could trigger it.

Overall still an amazing game and I plan on replaying it soon to play the extra content.
