Cheap dermatologist recommendations in Milano for student?
Hi everyone,
I’m an international student in Milano and I think I may have tinea cruris/jock itch (possibly fungal infection). It’s been very itchy and uncomfortable, and the pharmacy suggested I see a dermatologist instead of only using creams.
They also mentioned going through the public health system (SSN), but appointments seem to take a long time. Does anyone know:
- how much a private dermatologist visit usually costs in Milano?
- if there are student-friendly or cheaper clinics?
- whether I can go directly without a long wait?
- if this is something a general doctor/guardia medica can handle first?
Any recommendations for English-speaking dermatologists would also really help.
Thanks a lot 🙏
