So I was in a mate’s gaff at the weekend and he had this little diffuser going in the corner, said it was some kind of liquid Kräutermischung thing that helps him chill out after work. Smelled class tbh and it actually made the room feel less hectic.

I’ve been mad anxious lately with work and barely sleeping, so I went Googling last night and ended up reading about all these aromatic mixes, different flavours, “relaxing atmosphere”, creativity, all that. I even saw people talking about c-liquid in Deutschland as if it’s a completely normal, legal hobby thing over there, which confused me a bit.

Now I’m wondering what’s actually sound vs what’s sketchy here, especially with all the “not for human consumption” stuff plastered everywhere. Maybe I’m overthinking this, but I don’t fancy getting raided over a smelly room.

Has anyone in Ireland actually bought these kinds of liquids for diffusers/room scent? Are they legal here, or is it a grey area? Any brands/sites you’d trust or avoid, and what should I watch out for so I’m not accidentally ordering something dodgy?
