IBS Symptoms

Im 51. Last colonoscopy/EGD was clear in December. I’ve had IBS for years but it seems to always be changing. I used to have IBS-C, but now it’s more IBS-M. I also have upper GI involvement which it sounds like some of you experience. Over the years, I noticed my discomfort when I have a flareup. It has been on the left side. It’s usually at my hip bone like a side stitch/pain you get with running and the bloating (which goes to under my left ribcage) seems to always be most reactive on my left side. It seems like each time I have a flare up, something changes slightly and then freaks me out into thinking it’s something else. This time is no exception. I had a huge stressor occur a few weeks ago, so I’m sure that’s what brought it on. About a week after the stress incident, I had noticed some agitation in my low pelvic area, like the start of bloating. It was lower than I’m used to feeling, more uterine area. That progressed to slowed digestion and after a couple days everything just felt halted. I had indigestion, fatigue, belching, bloating, difficulty taking a deep breath due to the bloating and GI agitation, smaller BMs and incomplete evacuations. I’ve also had waves of nausea which is new for me, as well as, a feeling of fullness and a loss of appetite (which comes and goes). I’ve had that left hip discomfort that might go away slightly for 10min after a BM, but comes back. There is no bloating or agitation on my right side. It is so unsettling. It’s all on my left. It felt like it got better for a day or two, but then it came back with the left sided hip pain. Any of you experience these things with your IBS?
