Help with hpylori recovery

Hey guys ... not here to sell anything, and this is NOT medical advice. So please ... don't take this as a sale.

I just wanted to share something that genuinely helped me. I found Nikki Koval on Instagram, and working with her has gotten me to about 95% better.

She offers weekly sessions and testing that actually show what’s going on, and she walks you through everything. She’s been through it herself and has really studied how to treat it, which made a big difference for me.

If you’re looking for support outside of a traditional doctor route, I’d at least recommend talking to her before making any big decisions — especially if you’re feeling desperate like I was.

For transparency: I paid for her services, I make $0 from recommending her, and I just wish I found her earlier.

She or someone like her helped me with her support

I used AI to get my message across this this is all True

I wanted to post this because when I was going through H. pylori and the months after treatment, I genuinely thought I broke my body.

I did the full treatment (Triple Therapy ), lost around 27lbs , and expected to bounce back quickly.

That didn’t happen.

Instead, I dealt with:

  • Brain fog
  • Anxiety that didn’t feel like “me”
  • Weird head pressure / off feeling
  • Low confidence
  • Ups and downs that made no sense

The hardest part wasn’t even the stomach issues — it was feeling mentally off and not like myself.

At a few points I honestly thought:
“This is permanent.”

I’m now 14 months post-treatment, and here’s the reality:

I’m okay.

Not overnight. Not in a straight line. But I got there.

What I didn’t understand at the time:

  • Antibiotics + H. pylori can mess with your gut way more than you expect
  • Your nervous system gets thrown off from stress + symptoms
  • Recovery is slow and uneven — you can feel great one day and off the next

What helped me most:

  • Keeping food simple and consistent
  • Hydration
  • Getting back into movement (even just walking at first)
  • Prioritizing sleep
  • Stopping the constant symptom-checking loop (this was huge)

Now:

  • My appetite is normal
  • Energy is back
  • Anxiety is minimal
  • I have long stretches where I feel completely clear again
  • The “off” feeling is rare and manageable I can see through to the clear again!!!!

If you’re early in this (especially post-treatment), I know how dark it can feel.

But seriously — this is not your forever state.

Your body just needs time to reset.

I wish I saw more posts like this when I was going through it, so I’m putting this here for anyone who needs it.

You’re going to be alright.
