After my 720Ns have served me well for the past three years, I’m looking to get an upgrade soon, but I am not entirely sure what to get.

I care heavily about noise cancellation, I am due to start university in September and don’t fare well in extremely busy environments without my headphones.

When testing the xm4s in store a couple of years ago I loved how comfortable they felt but now I cannot find anywhere in the uk selling them brand new, it it worth taking the risk for them second hand?

I was pretty set on getting a pair of xm5s until I read about the hinge issues and i don’t want to drop £230 for them to break. If I take care of them with normal use should I be okay?
