Kerala Election Victory Celebration Sparks Controversy After Goat Beheading Incident

After the Congress-led UDF’s election victory in Tirur, Malappuram district of Kerala, a disturbing incident came to light where workers of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) slaughtered a goat in public and hung its severed head on a pole during the celebrations.

The incident reportedly took place in the Tanur constituency after the Congress candidate’s victory and was allegedly meant to mock former minister K. T. Jaleel. Following complaints from local residents, the Kerala Police registered cases against those involved.

Ps- I’m saying this in advance: this is not about the flag, so please don’t start spamming “It’s not the Pakistani flag” again. We have enough common sense to know that already.

Hypocrisy of these people

Imagine a sub whose entire identity revolves around spreading hate against its own country calling others hateful. These are the same people casually using terms like “cowd#g” while pretending to lecture others about hate. For them, hate only counts when it’s directed at one specific community.

And also about Arundhati Roy, she organised a large public protest against India becoming a nuclear power after the Pokhran tests and wrote extensively criticizing India’s nuclear policy. Despite the security threats India faced from nuclear-armed neighbors like China and Pakistan, she opposed the idea of India developing nuclear deterrence.

If India had never developed nuclear weapons, the downsides could have been massive, India would have remained strategically vulnerable to pressure from stronger nuclear states, especially China. It could have weakened India’s deterrence capability, reduced its bargaining power globally, and made the country more dependent on foreign powers for security guarantees. Many strategic experts argue that nuclear deterrence is one of the reasons large-scale wars between nuclear states become less likely.

The people in that sub are calling OP and other nationalist subs “dumb,” but many of them seem to live in their own bubble without understanding how global power politics and deterrence actually work.

Sagrika Ghosh claimed that a TMC worker was killed in widespread violence, but that claim is false, in fact the person in the video she shared was actually a BJP worker, Jadhav Bar, who was murdered allegedly by TMC goons yesterday. This goes beyond political rhetoric, it involves both misinformation and disrespect toward the deceased. This is evil.
