Built TypeBlast about a year ago as a side project - an infinite arcade-style typing game where words fall from the sky and you blast them. Got some early feedback, made a few updates, then life got busy and I left it.

Came back last week and did a proper overhaul:

Added daily challenges with seeded word lists (everyone gets the same words each day)

12 achievements to unlock (Combo King, Speed Demon, Legendary, etc.)

Combo scoring rework - your streak actually multiplies your score now

Dynamic difficulty that scales from Bronze to Diamond based on how you're playing

Story Mode with 12 campaign levels

It's free, no signup, no download. Just a browser game. Built it because I found traditional typing practice boring and wanted something that felt like an actual game.

Would love honest feedback — especially from fast typists. What's missing? What sucks?

I run a small consulting business and also build tools on the side. Every time I launch something new, the waitlist setup is the same pain:

- Create a Google Form (ugh)

- Manually track referrals (spreadsheet)

- Export emails to Mailchimp (more setup)

I'm working on a simpler tool — one widget that handles signups, referrals, and email in one place.

Landing page is up for early feedback: https://waitlistpro-sigma.vercel.app/

Curious if others in this sub have the same pain or if you've found a better workflow.

I'm building a SaaS and currently researching how people handle pre-launch waitlists.

Right now, my options seem to be:

- Google Forms (free but ugly, no referral tracking)

- Building my own (takes time away from the actual product)

- Paid tools (most are $15-30/mo, which feels heavy for pre-revenue)

What's your current setup? Anything you wish existed that doesn't?

Context: I'm working on a waitlist widget as a side project (founder here), but genuinely curious what the community uses and what pain points exist.
